We're searching for an artist to teach drawing classes at the Log House Museum, every second Thursday from June to September. The class will be held outside, and we would provide all the materials needed to teach the class, i.e. papers, pencils, erasers, tables, chairs, etc. We are encouraging the artist to teach the class how to draw plants from our Native Garden Exhibit, or items with historical significance from around the Duwamish peninsula. The class will be free to students and will be held from 4-6 PM. We're not opposed to having several different teachers this summer, so if only one of the dates work for you that is fine. Call Hannah at 509-768-8142 if you're interested, or email her at [email protected]. There will be light snacks and wine available for participants, so this class is geared towards adults who want to learn to draw, or like to draw for fun in a relaxing environment.
