I'm hosting a four week work session in free, public spaces for anyone who would benefit from the structure to work on anything they have been avoiding or anything that they would do better knowing there are other people in the room who are also working on hard things. Ideas: resumes, job searches, journaling, screen writing, writing poems, studying for tests, research, taxes, investment research, dissertations, budgeting, sorting bills, reviewing finances. We can give each other the space and support of presence. We won't be giving each other advice. It'll be a mostly quiet workplace. Conversations, snacks and meals can be eaten outside of the room. No Gum chewing please. This Deep Work Collective is good for all, specifically those who identify as neurodiverse and want to be in a non-judgemental work space. There aren't a lot of rules so far but we might have to come up with protocols if persistent patterns develop that undermine the benefits of co-working. If I get a sense after three weeks that this is a productive process for some or many, I'll reserve more library space for April and May. Schedule: Delridge Library 3/18 12-2 pm High Point Library 3/25, 4/1, and 4/8 12-2 pm.
