The West Seattle Timebank Board has authorized a posting for submissions for consideration for a logo for The West Seattle Timebank.
please feel free to reach out to me with any questions about the process and to coordinate your submission of your art.
Any Timebank member can submit their original logo concept for consideration. Submitters should keep a record of their hours during its creation and will be awarded hours for their effort whether or not their submission ends up being chosen by the Board. Here’s the criteria:
Logo art in Black & White and/or 2-3 colors
Easily replicable
Saved in all the different file formats needed by printers/screen printers/graphics professionals (ie epi, jpeg, png)
HEX code, RGB and/or CMYK code for each color used in your logo design submission .
Graphically printable
Scalable for printing
Not a generic timebank logo—but instead one that can be readily identified with our PNW/Puget Sound region
Perhaps similar in theme to the “fine art" rendering we have been using or something that calls back to it—though this is not a requirement as we are not married to that piece.
You might gain some inspiration by viewing what other timebanks around the world are doing for logos by viewing the Directory of timebanks on the Timebanks.Org site. If you click through to the different sites you can see the logos featured on the branch’s homepage.
