It's the time of year when games, puzzles, and other activities are particularly enjoyed - especially if it's a rainy, cold afternoon. Saturday, February 10th is Neighbor Day and the Timebank will be working with SPL's High Point Library, West Seattle Helpline, and High Point Neighborhood House to take the opportunity to tell people about what resources are available to them...and just have the opportunity to 'meet your neighbor'.
The West Seattle Timebank will be hosting a game, puzzle, or activity swap. It's simple: Bring a game/puzzle/activity, then take one home. Through the community and my own collecting, I have some great activities to swap for kids/family games, but I feel as though I am lacking adult-oriented games.
Could you drop by Neighbor Day to supply a game or activity suitable for adults and support your Timebank and community? Maybe you have a card game, a craft, or languishing. I bet there is someone else out there that would love it! Only request is that all pieces to the game/activity are present. You'll earn hours of appreciation from me!
Confirmed Details: February 10, 2018 @ High Point Library meeting room in West Seattle (near 35th Ave SW and Morgan).
Tentative Details: 1-4PM. Other activities may be happening. The tentative details will be confirmed the week of 1/25/18 and advertising will begin at that time.
Also, if you like games and similar activities, watch for information on our February 2018 gathering. February 15th is game night starting at 6:30PM.
