If so, the Burien Arts Association invites you to an Open House/Salon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. DATE TBA at our Burien Arts Gallery, located at 826 S.W. 152nd St. in Olde Burien.
We want to inform you and other arts supporters and advocates in the community about what we're doing. We'd like to showcase some of the good work Burien Arts does. And we want to know more about you and offer some ways, large and small, that you can become involved.
So, please join us in enjoying some handcrafted hors d'oeuvres, wine, punch and good conversation.

The mission of Burien Arts Association is to engage, enrich and entertain all the communities, generations and visitors to the Burien and Greater Highline area through creative and innovative arts programming. The non-profit was founded in the 1960s, started Burien’s annual Strawberry Festival, and for years operated a gallery in the little blue house at Dottie Harper Park.
In fall 2013, Burien Arts Association opened the only non-profit fine-arts gallery between Tacoma and West Seattle. To date, the monthly exhibits at the Burien Arts Gallery have showcased the work of more than 100 regional artists.
Burien Arts Association programming also includes the delicious Strawberry Shortcake booth at Burien’s annual Wild Strawberry Festival in June, summer Shakespeare in the Park, Vision 20/20 Art Gala, Highline Classic Jazz Festival, face painting at local festivals, student and adult workshops, speakers series, life drawing sessions, and poetry readings.
We also advocate on behalf of the arts to the City Council as well as networking and sharing resources with other arts groups.
