Let's get together via Zoom and create a few haikus about Timebank experiences.
Haikus poems are succinct and can communicate images that are poetic and beautiful, or describe a situation. They are constructed simply with the following requirements:
5 syllables - first line
7 syllables - second line
5 syllables - third line
Here's an example or a generic one and the last two Haikus are about exchanges I had in the past.
Time bank ing is fun. (5)
Neigh bors help one an oth er (7)
Let's cre ate Hai koos. (5)
I broke the first one out in syllables, but it should be written like this:
Timebanking is fun.
Neighbors help one another.
Let's create Haikus.
Here an example with an exchange:
Basement was ugly.
Paint and refresh is needed.
Now walls are awesome.
And another:
Garden needs tending.
Spring is time to plant flowers.
Colors in the sun.
Here is a suggestion to follow, but not required. Describe the offer or request in line one. In line two, the proposed action, and line three, give the result.
Have fun and send me your Haikus. We can meet by zoom, too, if you like.
