Thursday, May 26th marks the 11th annual Taste of West Seattle, a community-based food fair showcasing the finest foods and drinks from West Seattle businesses. This event puts the "fun" in "fundraiser", since not only does this provide great exposure and competition for local businesses, all proceeds from the evening go directly to support West Seattle Helpline programs!
We need help preparing giveaway bags for attendees of the event! Interested volunteers will help up prepare for this event by stuffing bags with small items, stapling programs, and other small tasks. This will be Wednesday 5/25, from roughly 4-5:00pm.

About the event:
The West Seattle Helpline is proud to host the 11th annual Taste of West Seattle. This local, community-based food fair is the largest event of its kind in West Seattle. We will feature food and drink from 50 different restaurants, breweries, wineries, coffee shops, bakeries, chocolatiers, specialty food stores and more!
The event has drawn a sell-out crowd of more than 500 people from West Seattle and throughout the region for the past five years in a row. All proceeds from the event go directly to support the West Seattle Helplines emergency assistance programs for low-income individuals and families in West Seattle who are recovering from a crisis or unexpected hardship.
