I have a .png image that was taken from a website that I am curious to see if I can make print-quality. It's not highly detailed, but more of a bold text graphic, single color. 72 ppi. I am part of a community group that would like to continue to use their logo on print materials, not just a website.
No stealing of work involved, the situation arose because of how community groups sometimes work. People move on, lose (or never had) originals, etc. In fact, I'm still working on trying to track down the original keeper of the image, but it's proving difficult.
Do you have experience with graphic design and technical skills that could tell me if I have options? I'd love to pick your brain about this and maybe have you see what you can do.
