Join the Timebank board! Elections will be held at our June 18th Gathering

The Timebank board has four board positions open! We hope you will volunteer to join our board.

We will hold an election at our June 18, 2020 Gathering. The Gathering will be held via a zoom meeting. The election of officers will be held at the begining of the meeting and then we'll have our regular gathering. We hope to have some fun activities after the election is held. The election should only take 15 min. 

The open board positions are:

1. President
2. Treasurer
3. Vice President for White Center
4. At Large

Description of Open Board Positions:

The Officers of the West Seattle Timebank Board

1. All officers shall serve a term of two (2) years from election or until their successors are elected.
2. All officers shall serve as members of the Executive Board.

The duties and powers of the officers shall be as follows:

President:

1. Preside at all Board Meetings of the corporation,
2. Call regular and special meetings as needed,
3. Chair the Executive Board,
4. Oversee the activities of the other officers, and all grant projects

Vice President(s): 3 positions exist but only White Center is open – West Seattle, Burien & White Center

1. In the absence or inability of the president to perform his or her duties the First Vice President shall assume all duties and privileges of the President.
2. Vice Presidents selected to represent the area in which they live. The First Vice president is decided by the most recent date of election. 
3. The Vice President(s) shall serve as a member of the Executive Board

Treasurer:

1. Be responsible for all monetary matters of the Corporation:
2. Serve as a member of the Board and the Executive Committee,
3. Perform all duties incident to the Office of Treasurer.

At Large:

1. Serve as a member of the Board
2. Attend board meetings
3. Support Timebank events and gatherings
