Hey all!
I am a k-5 integrated arts specialist at White Center Heights Elementary in south Seattle.
The TimeBank volunteers that helped with the sewing project for my 4th and 5th graders were imperative to making that project a success and I am very grateful. It did make me realize how powerful and wonderful volunteers can be in my art classes. All classes have 25-30 students and I cannot give all the students the attention they need and deserve. Can you come and be a art leader in my class? We do everything from painting to sketching to 3D sculptures. I am VERY open to any and all ideas as well as there is no actual curriculum to follow!
My schedule is here. I would love volunteers that could come consistently to one class each week so that they students really get to know them.
