Join with Nature Consortium and United Way of King County on MLK Day of Service 2020 at Pigeon Point Park in restoring the West Duwamish Greenbelt. This year's MLK event will have a focus on social justice awareness. The West Duwamish Greenbelt is the largest contiguous forest within the City of Seattle, extending over 500 acres and providing important ecosystem services to the Duwamish Rivershed. Volunteers will provide a crucial boost to efforts aimed at restoring sites to healthy, diverse forests by planting native plant species and removing invasive plant species.
Live music and pizza will be provided!
