Hopefully by now you have heard about the exciting event that is quickly approaching! On Friday, April 29th, The Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) will bring you World Dance Party!
This party is the kickoff event to DNDA’s Cultural Events Series 2016, and will celebrate the cultural diversity of the Delridge community featuring an amazing DJ, mini multicultural dance lessons, and great food!
The event will take place at the Delridge Community Center Gym - 4501 Delridge Way SW, Seattle 98106 at 6:00pm!

As we will be expecting 100+ attendees, we could use your help in passing this along to those you believe would be interested in volunteering. We will need help in the following areas:
** Number in parenthesis represents # of individuals (VOLUNTEERS) needed per shift.
- Set-up: 5:00 – 6:00(6)
o Decorate room, set up chairs, tables, food buffet
- Registration: 6:00 -7:00 (2)and 7:00 – 8:00 (2) and 8:00 – 9:00 (1)
o Meet and welcome people as they arrive, collect contact info/sign-in sheet; pass out glow bands and thank them for coming
- Ushers: 6:00 -7:00 (2) and 7:00 – 8:00 (2)and 8:00 – 9:00 (1)
o Direct new arrivals to check-in table, encourage guests to participate in mini dance lessons, dance with guests
- Food Servers: 6:00 -7:00 (3)and 7:00 – 8:00 (2) and 8:00 – 9:00 (2)
o Label dishes for vegetarians, vegans, dietary restrictions, keep food area clean
- Photographer:8:00 – 9:30 (1)
o Document event
- Videographer: 6:00 -7:00 (1) and 7:00 – 8:00 (1)and 8:00 – 9:30 (1)
o Document event
- Floaters: 6:00 -7:00 (1) and 7:00 – 8:00 (1)and 8:00 – 9:30 (1)
o Fill in wherever needed
- Clean up: 9:00 – 10:00
o Set facilities back to normal
***Note:
- Please sign up for at least two shifts/roles, we would like to have your help for 2 hours minimum
- Duties are subject to change as planning continues
- You will have fun and eat lots of great food!
