Chris Gray and Jo Rhodes will share their stories about Timebanking and the extrodinary work they have accomplised in their communities and worldwide.
Here is a short bio aboout Chris Gray:
Dr. Christine Gray joined with Edgar Cahn in developing and spreading the use of Timebanking as a complementary currency worldwide along with the theory and practice of Co-Production as a strengths-based framework for social services. As a facilitator, trainer, adjunct faculty member and consultant she has worked with grass-roots groups, non-profits, government agencies and policymakers in the US, the UK, and other countries. A regular co-author with Edgar Cahn, she also co-developed with him a course on system change, which they co-taught at the UDC-David A. Clarke School of Law.
She is the author of The Tribal Moment in American Politics; The Struggle for Native American Sovereignty.
Here is a short bio about Jo Rhodes:
Jo Rhodes moved from Bristol in the Southwest of England to rural Yorkshire to run a Youth Hostel with her husband in 2006 and got involved with community activities in Settle in the Yorkshire Dales in the North of England.
In 2016 Jo and two friends set up the North Craven Networking Group, Settle Soup and Settle Timebank. Today they are now all under a hub umbrella.
