This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the rescue of Springer, the orphaned orca. She was discovered near West Seattle in January 2002, rehabilitated and returned to her pod six month later. Today she has two calves of her own - it's the only successful orca reunion in history!

We are giving presentations about Springer at 3 PM Saturday and Sunday at the Senior Center of West Seattle, We need some help setting up, managing a refreshments table and other tasks (see below.)

The event goes from 3 to 6, with setup starting at 2. This is a free, family-friendly event.

Can you help? Message me here and let me know what days(s) you can help or reach me directly at [email protected], 206-919-5397. We need 5 to 10 people total.

As a member of Timebank, the hours you volunteer for us are bankable. Thank you for considering!
