Tasks may include circling portions of Camp Long and checking in with attendees, artists and other volunteers to ensure everything is running smoothly. Other tasks may include picking up garbage/recycling, assisting at the registration table, helping facilitate artist projects or directing festival traffic near the entrance of Camp Long. The 19th annual Arts in Nature Festival is here! Hosted by Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA), the festival is taking place on August 25th (12p-9p) and 26th (12p-6p) at Camp Long in West Seattle. This event is an annual celebration of art, nature, and neighborhood and it will feature 40+ artists of all disciplines, food trucks, beer garden, cabin installations, creative workshops, green space and FUN! You can find more information about the festival at our website: dnda.org/festival.
All are welcome, but please know this is an outdoor event and you should be prepared to volunteer in the sun. Most volunteer roles include walking through Camp Long, other roles may include transporting heavier materials (for set-up and take-down, depending on your capacity). Volunteer breaks and food will be provided.
If you are interested in volunteering please submit your availability at this link, tiny.cc/ainf18, or contact Sara at DNDA dot org.
