Hello Dear Pals - Some of you have already replied and given me your requested shift information. Shifts available. Contact Laurie for details. There are many, many others whom I have not heard from.
I am now providing you with more information to entice you to volunteer and me know your preferred schedule.
Benefits of volunteering:
1) You get FREE admission to the festival! Cost this year is $25 per person, but not for volunteers!
2) You get a FREE Jazz Festival t-shirt
3) You get to hear and see music the entire time that you are volunteering. You are not removed from the activity, you are part of it!
4) You get a great warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you have contributed to the important task of providing live music! + 12,000 karma points redeemable for 1000's of beta videos at all Blockbuster stores!
Please let us know if you would prefer an early shift or a later shift. In addition, if you would like to put in a request for a certain venue, please do so. We will do everything that we can to honor your requests. First come first served. Also, on a personal note...... Our youngest daughter, Kelly, is expecting a baby September 17th. Yikes! That's just a week before the festival. There is a chance that Laurie and Lance may not be at the festival, but rather attending to the important duty of grandparenting. We really need to get this volunteer schedule set so that the festival can run smoothly whether we are here or not.
