Join with Nature Consortium at the Delridge Wetland Park in restoring our new wetland through weeding and sheet mulching. Wetlands are important buffers between pollution from industrialized areas and waterways such as the Longfellow Creek, one of the only tributaries to the Duwamish River which hosts spawning salmon! Volunteers will provide a crucial boost to efforts aimed at restoring sites to healthy, diverse forests by planting native plant species and removing invasive plant species.
