Covid-19 Quarantine has me thinking about mending and the get-togethers we used to have in the before times. I strikes me that perhaps mending lends itself to Zoom gathering. When we used to gather, we would sit around somewhat absorbed in our task, but also aware of those around us and folks would tell their stories and anecdotes while they worked. If you are sewing on a machine, you will need to mute yourself. I think Speaker View setting will lend itself well to this enterprise. If you have something to repair, would like ideas or some company, fell free to join us this Saturday evening at 7:00 PM for a 90 minute mending get-together. You will need to email or phone me to RSVP so you can get an invite with a link to the actual meeting. Looking forward to it. Think of it as productive socializing and an evening with friends.
