Can you make a few masks for our community agencies? United Way is asking for our help!

Do you want to help sew or donate cloth face coverings for vulnerable communities, including people experiencing homelessness, older adults, and staff at food banks? Visit the United Way portal to learn how: https://volunteer.uwkc.org/need/?tag=Face+Masks

You'll see different agencies listed that need masks (there are multiple pages). Click on "View Details" to see how many they need, how to deliver or mail them and click on “Respond”. There is a link to how to make a mask. See: "Please read this page for more information about sewing face masks".

If you need materials for making the masks or need to have completed masks picked-up to deliver or mailed please contact Tamsen Spengler  at: tamsenspengler@outlook.com

Since the Mayor and King County Executive has issued a Directive that we all need to wear mask for awhile Our community agencies do not have the funds to provide masks for all of their clients. I hope we can help.
