I am volunteered to collect items for a conference on a medical condition in October. I want to ask companies for samples of specific items they make so people can try them out and see if they improve their quality of life. I haven't done this before and I'm looking for any kind of help - how to select items, how to contact companies (Email/written letter?), what do I send them (cover letter and procurement form), what should I offer them in return (letter of thanks from the Association, advertising?), how do I arrange for the items to be at the hotel in St. Paul MN without me paying for a second suitcase.
